Overview:
The Chagoi Butterfly Grade A Koi is a large, calm ornamental koi featuring a rich, earthy brown or olive-green coloration with long, flowing butterfly fins. Known for its friendly temperament, this koi adds both elegance and personality to any premium pond.

Origin:
Originating from Japan, the Chagoi variety is valued for its rapid growth, hardiness, and consistent coloration. This Grade A butterfly specimen has been selectively bred for superior body conformation, smooth finnage, and vibrant, even coloration.

Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed high-quality koi pellets as a staple, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.

Tank / Pond Mates:
Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.

Temperament / Aggression:
Extremely peaceful and non-aggressive, making it ideal for mixed koi ponds and for interacting gently with other koi.

Experience Level:
Beginner to advanced. Hardy and adaptable, though optimal water quality, filtration, and ample pond space are essential for maintaining Grade A condition.
