The Chagoi Butterfly Japanese Koi is a peaceful and hardy ornamental koi featuring a warm, brownish-green body with long, flowing butterfly fins. Known for its gentle temperament and rapid growth, it adds both beauty and personality to any premium pond.

Originating from Japan, the Chagoi variety is prized for its calm nature, ease of care, and solid coloration. The butterfly-fin form enhances its graceful swimming and elegance in pond displays.

Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed high-quality, color-enhancing koi pellets as a staple, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.

Tank / Pond Mates:
Very social and compatible. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.

Temperament / Aggression:
Extremely peaceful and non-aggressive, ideal for mixed koi ponds.
