The Ochiba Butterfly Grade A Koi is a stunning ornamental koi with earthy, autumn-inspired hues of bronze, brown, and gold, paired with long, flowing butterfly fins. Its subtle metallic sheen and elegant swimming make it a sophisticated centerpiece in any premium pond.
Origin:
Originating from Japan, the Ochiba variety is prized for its natural, muted coloration reminiscent of falling autumn leaves. This Grade A butterfly specimen has been selectively bred for excellent color depth, balanced patterning, and refined finnage.
Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed high-quality, color-enhancing koi pellets as a staple, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.
Tank / Pond Mates:
Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.
Temperament / Aggression:
Very peaceful and non-aggressive, ideal for mixed koi ponds.
