This variety is known for short-finned, active build.<\/p>\n<p><em>Origin:<\/em> Captive-bred variety of the Siamese fighting fish, originally from Southeast Asia\u2019s warm, shallow, slow-moving waters.<\/p>\n<p><em>Feeding:<\/em> Carnivorous\u2014offer a high-protein betta pellet or micro-granule as a staple, supplemented with frozen\/live foods like brine shrimp, daphnia, or bloodworm in small portions.<\/p>\n<p><em>Tank Mates:<\/em> Best kept alone or with peaceful, non-nippy tank mates in a suitably sized, well-planted aquarium (temperament varies).
