The Water Cow Goby, also known as the Spotted Sleeper Goby, is a robust, bottom-dwelling fish known for its thick body, calm behaviour, and attractive spotted pattern. Its laid-back nature and unique appearance make it a standout addition to larger brackish or freshwater aquariums.<\/p>\n

Origin<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Found throughout the Indo-Pacific, including Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and northern Australia. Inhabits slow-moving rivers, estuaries, mangrove systems, and coastal brackish zones.<\/p>\n

Feeding<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Carnivorous. Accepts meaty foods such as sinking pellets, frozen shrimp, bloodworms, and small fish. Provide a varied protein-rich diet for best health and growth.<\/p>\n

Tank Mates<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Best kept with peaceful to moderately sized tank mates. Suitable companions include larger tetras, rainbowfish, peaceful cichlids, monos, scats, and other non-aggressive brackish\/freshwater fish. Avoid very small fish or shrimp that may be eaten.<\/p>\n
