The Yellow Orange Blotch (OB) Peacock Cichlid<\/strong> is a striking hybrid from Lake Malawi lineage<\/strong>, known for its bold, random patches of yellow, orange, white, and black<\/strong>. No two OB Peacocks look exactly alike, making each fish a unique showpiece. This variety combines the vivid colors of Aulonocara species<\/strong> with the high contrast and attitude of Mbuna genes\u2014resulting in a cichlid that’s as eye-catching as it is active.<\/p>\n

Origin:<\/strong>
While pure Aulonocara<\/em> species are native to Lake Malawi<\/strong>, the OB Peacock is a man-made hybrid<\/strong>, typically bred from crossing colorful peacocks with OB Mbuna or other Haplochromines to produce this dramatic blotched pattern.<\/p>\n
