As they mature, their colours darken, sometimes becoming less vibrant but still striking. Reaching <strong data-start=\"480\" data-end=\"505\">10\u201312 cm (4\u20135 inches)<\/strong>, they are larger and more assertive than the common schooling chromis species. They are hardy and active but best suited to larger aquariums due to their territorial nature.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"683\" data-end=\"699\"><strong data-start=\"687\" data-end=\"697\">Origin<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"700\" data-end=\"933\">Native to the <strong data-start=\"714\" data-end=\"730\">Indo-Pacific<\/strong>, including the Philippines, Indonesia, New Guinea, and parts of Micronesia.
