Its unique appearance and excellent algae-eating abilities make it both a decorative and highly beneficial addition to aquariums.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"640\"><strong data-start=\"507\" data-end=\"518\">Origin:<\/strong><br data-start=\"518\" data-end=\"521\" \/>Native to Southeast Asia, <em data-start=\"547\" data-end=\"557\">Neritina<\/em> species are commonly found in coastal rivers, streams, and estuarine environments.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"642\" data-end=\"887\"><strong data-start=\"642\" data-end=\"654\">Feeding:<\/strong><br data-start=\"654\" data-end=\"657\" \/>Primarily herbivorous. Feeds on algae, biofilm, and micro-organisms growing on aquarium glass, rocks, plants, and d\u00e9cor.
