Reaching around <strong data-start=\"404\" data-end=\"427\">12\u201313 cm (5 inches)<\/strong> in length, it is larger than many of the common chromis species and tends to be more assertive in behaviour. Hardy, active, and eye-catching, this species makes a dramatic addition to community reef aquariums with enough space.<\/p>\n<h3 data-start=\"659\" data-end=\"675\"><strong data-start=\"663\" data-end=\"673\">Origin<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p data-start=\"676\" data-end=\"921\">Found across the <strong data-start=\"693\" data-end=\"716\">Indo-Pacific region<\/strong>, particularly the Great Barrier Reef, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, and Micronesia. Kept in smaller tanks, they may show dominance behaviour and chase conspecifics.
