Found throughout the Indo-Pacific region, including the Great Barrier Reef, Indonesia, and the Red Sea, Diproctacanthus xanthurus<\/em> inhabits coral-rich lagoons and reef slopes where it often forms cleaning associations with larger fish.<\/p>\n

Feeding<\/strong><\/h4>\n

In captivity, it thrives on a varied diet of frozen mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, finely chopped seafood, and high-quality marine pellets. Multiple small daily feedings are recommended to mimic its active grazing behavior.<\/p>\n
