The Lyretail Hogfish, also known as the Lyretail Pigfish or Anthias Hogfish, is a stunning and hardy reef species distinguished by its elegant lyre-shaped tail and vivid reddish-pink body with white markings. Origin<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Native to the Indo-Pacific region\u2014from the Red Sea and East Africa to Fiji and the Great Barrier Reef\u2014the Lyretail Hogfish inhabits coral reef slopes and lagoons, often darting among rocks and corals in search of small prey.<\/p>\n

Feeding<\/strong><\/h4>\n

A carnivorous species, the Lyretail Hogfish thrives on a meaty diet of mysis shrimp, krill, chopped clams, squid, and high-quality marine pellets or frozen foods. Offer two to three small feedings daily to maintain health and coloration.<\/p>\n

Tank Mates<\/strong><\/h4>\n
