The Multicolour Wrasse, also known as the Radiant or Iridis Wrasse, is a beautifully vibrant reef fish featuring a glowing orange body, deep blue dorsal stripe, and bright yellow face. Active, hardy, and reef-safe, this wrasse adds constant color and motion while helping to control pests such as flatworms and small invertebrates.<\/p>\n

Origin<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Native to the Western Indian Ocean, particularly around South Africa and the Red Sea, Halichoeres iridis<\/em> inhabits sandy reef slopes and lagoons where it forages among rocks and coral rubble.<\/p>\n

Feeding<\/strong><\/h4>\n

An omnivore that thrives on a varied diet of frozen mysis, brine shrimp, finely chopped seafood, and high-quality marine pellets. It will also naturally graze on small invertebrates in the tank. Feed 2\u20133 times daily.<\/p>\n

Tank Mates<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Peaceful and reef-safe with most species. Ideal companions include tangs, gobies, anthias, and other non-aggressive wrasses. Avoid aggressive or territorial fish that may harass it.<\/p>\n

Generally peaceful but may show mild territorial behavior toward similar-shaped wrasses, especially in smaller aquariums. Provide ample live rock and sand for foraging and sleeping.<\/p>\n
